Musculoskeletal Support Programme in Trivandrum (Kerala)

About this retreat

This 15-day, 14-night programme is at Rockholm at the Lighthouse Beach in Kovalam, Trivandrum, Kerala. It is meant for people with muscle and joint stiffness and aims to combine Kerala Ayurveda therapies, therapeutic yoga, meditation, Ayurvedic meals and lifestyle guidance. The programme is for a medical condition, so guests should speak with their own doctor and with the centre before booking. On arrival an Ayurvedic doctor holds a detailed consultation and plans the therapies for you. These may include Panchakarma-based therapies, medicated oil therapies, herbal applications and rehabilitation practices. Each day has a doctor's review, two or three therapies of about 1 hour 45 minutes in total, and two yoga and meditation sessions, including an evening mobility session. Airport pick-up and drop-off are included for stays of at least 7 nights.

Itinerary

1. Daily schedule

   Herbal drink at 6:30 AM, yoga at 7:00 AM, meditation and pranayama, then breakfast. A doctor's consultation at 10:00 AM and personal Ayurveda therapies from 10:30 AM. Lunch at 1:00 PM and rest. An evening yoga or mobility session at 4:30 PM, meditation or relaxation, dinner at 7:00 PM and lifestyle guidance. Sleep at 9:30 PM.
