Agreement to Terms

MargKGB is operated by MARGKGB TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (“MargKGB”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms govern your use of the MargKGB app. By using MargKGB, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Understanding What MargKGB Does

1.1 MargKGB is a Directory Service

What we provide:

  • Verified phone numbers of vendors (pandits, auto drivers, hotels, restaurants, shops)
  • Reviews and ratings from users
  • Photos and basic vendor information
  • Search and filtering tools

What we do NOT provide:

  • Booking services, except the partner bookings described in section 3.5
  • Payment processing to vendors
  • Guarantees about vendor behavior
  • Refunds for services provided by vendors

1.2 Important Clarification

For vendor listings, MargKGB is not a booking platform: our role ends after providing a phone number, and you negotiate directly with vendors. Partner bookings (Margdarshak Buddy, Vedic Pandit Ji) are the one exception and follow section 3.5.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age

  • MargKGB can be used by people of any age
  • When you register, you tell us whether you are 18 or older or under 18; we record your answer
  • If you are under 18, use MargKGB with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian
  • Payments, subscriptions and bookings for a user under 18 should be made or approved by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for them

2.2 Account Requirements

  • Valid mobile phone number
  • Ability to receive SMS for OTP
  • Payment method for subscription
  • Agreement to these Terms

2.3 Consent at Registration

When you register, you tick boxes to confirm that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, that you have read our Disclaimer, and you tell us whether you are 18 or older or under 18. Receiving festival reminders and trip updates on WhatsApp and SMS is optional. We keep a record of what you accepted and when. If these documents change materially, we will ask you to accept the new version.

3. Account and Subscription

3.1 Creating an Account

  • Enter phone number and OTP
  • Optional name
  • Keep your phone secure and do not share OTPs

3.2 Subscription Terms

  • Pricing: ₹99 for 1 month (30 days)
  • Unlimited searches and vendor number access
  • Access to all cities, ratings, reviews, and favorites

Auto-Renewal

  • Optional (default OFF)
  • If enabled, ₹99 charged every month
  • Cancel anytime in Settings

Manual Renewal

  • Access expires after 1 month
  • You can manually renew for ₹99
  • Account remains but numbers are hidden

3.3 Payment

  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm)
  • Debit/Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, RuPay)
  • Digital wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, Amazon Pay)
  • Payments processed by certified gateways; we do not store card details

Failed Payments

  • If auto-renewal fails, we notify you
  • 24 hours to update payment method
  • Access suspended after 24 hours

3.4 Refund Policy

  • Full ₹99 refund within 24 hours of first subscription
  • Email margkgb@gmail.com; refunds in 48 hours
  • No refunds after 24 hours
  • Exceptions possible for major technical failures

3.5 Partner Bookings (Margdarshak Buddy, Vedic Pandit Ji)

  • Partner bookings are available to devotees with an active ₹99 MargKGB subscription, taken in the MargKGB app
  • The booking fee you pay online is MargKGB's platform fee for arranging a verified partner; it is not the partner's own fee
  • A Margdarshak Buddy's remaining fee is paid directly to the Buddy on arrival; a Pandit Ji's dakshina and puja arrangements are agreed directly with Pandit Ji
  • MargKGB assigns and confirms your partner after payment and connects your calls; partner and pilgrim phone numbers are never shared
  • Full refund of the booking fee if MargKGB cannot assign a partner, if the partner cancels, or if the partner does not arrive
  • Full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before the booking date; no refund for cancellations within 24 hours
  • Refunds go to the original payment method; contact margkgb@gmail.com with your booking reference

4. User Responsibilities

Acceptable Use

  • Provide accurate information
  • Use MargKGB for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Respect vendors; no prank calls
  • Follow local laws and temple rules
  • Be respectful in reviews

You must NOT

  • Share your account widely (family sharing up to 5 is okay)
  • Scrape or download the vendor database
  • Use bots or automation to extract data
  • Harass or abuse vendors
  • Post fake reviews
  • Use MargKGB for illegal purposes
  • Reverse-engineer or hack the app
  • Resell vendor contacts

Reviews and Ratings

  • Reviews must be genuine
  • No profanity, hate speech, or personal attacks
  • We may remove violating reviews

5. Vendor Listings

5.1 Vendor Information

  • Vendors submit details; we verify basic information
  • We call to confirm numbers; sometimes visit in person
  • Users can report incorrect listings

Information We Show

  • Vendor name, phone number, category, location
  • Photos (if provided)
  • Specialization (for pandits)
  • User reviews and ratings

5.2 Vendor Verification

  • We verify the number works and vendor exists
  • We do not verify service quality, pricing, or qualifications
  • Verification is not endorsement

5.3 Updated Information

  • Weekly checks for working numbers
  • Monthly review for consistently poor ratings
  • Rapid updates based on user reports
  • Report issues via in-app Report or info@margkgb.com

For Vendors and Partners

If you register on MargKGB as a vendor or partner (pandit, Margdarshak Buddy, driver, stay, shop or other service):

  • You confirm that the details and documents you submit are true and belong to you or your business
  • You consent to MargKGB storing and using your profile photo, identity and business documents, and any liveness photo, to verify you and to keep your listing accurate
  • Your name, photo, business details, languages and service area may be shown to pilgrims in the MargKGB app and website
  • Your identity documents, liveness photo and phone number are never shown publicly; pilgrims reach you through MargKGB
  • MargKGB may decline, pause or remove a listing that cannot be verified or that pilgrims report
  • You can ask us to delete your listing and documents at any time: margkgb@gmail.com

6. MargKGB's Responsibilities and Disclaimers

6.1 What We Provide

  • A platform for vendor contact discovery
  • Verified phone numbers to the best of our ability
  • User reviews and ratings
  • Customer support for app issues

6.2 What We Do NOT Provide

  • Bookings, payments, or vendor mediation for vendor listings (partner bookings follow section 3.5)
  • Vendor availability or pricing guarantees
  • On-ground support, other than a booked Margdarshak Buddy

6.3 Disclaimers

  • MargKGB is provided as-is without warranties
  • We do not guarantee vendor quality, pricing, or behavior
  • Use MargKGB at your own risk
  • Our Disclaimer (margkgb.com/disclaimer) forms part of these Terms

6.4 Limitation of Liability

  • Maximum liability is ₹99 (subscription fee)
  • We are not liable for vendor actions, losses, or damages

7. Intellectual Property

  • We own the MargKGB name, logo, design, and software
  • You may not copy or reverse-engineer our app
  • User content is licensed to MargKGB for use in the app

8. Termination

  • You can cancel anytime or delete your account
  • We may suspend accounts for violations
  • Banned users may not create new accounts

9. Disputes and Legal

  • Vendor disputes must be handled directly with the vendor
  • You can report vendors to reports@margkgb.com
  • MargKGB disputes governed by Indian law, jurisdiction Lucknow
