Data Deletion Policy

MargKGB is operated by MARGKGB TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (“MargKGB”, “we”, “us”, “our”). You can delete your account and data at any time. Deletion completes within 7 days.

Method 1: In-App (Fastest - Instant)

• Open the MargKGB app and sign in
• Go to Settings → Delete Account
• Read the notice and tap Delete

Timeline: your account is disabled immediately and you are signed out. It is permanently deleted after 7 days.

Method 2: Email Request

• Email: margkgb@gmail.com
• For developer or technical issues: devmargkgb@gmail.com
• Subject: Account Deletion Request
• Include full name, registered phone number, and optional reason

Timeline: response within 48 hours; deletion within 7 days.

Method 3: Phone Request

• Call: +91 83208 95978 (Mon-Sat, 9 AM - 6 PM IST)
• Verify via OTP

Timeline: deletion begins during the call and completes within 7 days.

Method 4: WhatsApp Request

• WhatsApp: +91 83208 95978
• Message: I want to delete my account
• We guide verification and OTP confirmation

2.1 Data That Gets Deleted

• Account info: phone number, name, email (if provided)
• User content: searches, views, call taps, favorites, reviews, feedback
• App usage data: screens, features, time in app, device info, IP addresses, logs
• Subscription data: status, auto-renewal preferences, saved payment methods
• Communications: support tickets, emails, SMS logs (except OTP logs for security)

2.2 Reviews You Wrote

Default: reviews are anonymized (name removed, text remains).

Option: request full review deletion, which may take up to 14 days.

This preserves honest feedback while protecting your identity. You can choose either option in your deletion request.

2.3 Sign-In Details

Your MargKGB sign-in (your phone number with our login provider) is deleted together with your personal data. You can sign up again later with the same number as a new account.

2.4 Data We Must Keep (Legal)

• Transaction records kept for 7 years (anonymized)
• Legal hold data for disputes or investigations
• Encrypted backups retained up to 30 days (automatic purge)

• Day 0: request received; your account is disabled, you are signed out, notifications stop and auto-renewal is cancelled
• Days 1-7: your data is kept only so you can change your mind; sign in to cancel the deletion
• After day 7: your personal data and sign-in are permanently erased
• If an order or booking is still in progress, erasure waits until it is completed, so your pandit or delivery can still reach you
• Days 8-30: encrypted backups automatically expire

• Delete immediately: access ends now; no refund for remaining days
• Wait until expiry: use remaining access, then delete
• Plans paid by UPI Autopay or card through MargKGB: auto-renewal is cancelled when deletion begins
• Plans bought through the App Store on iPhone are billed by Apple: cancel them yourself in Settings → your name → Subscriptions (deleting your account cannot stop Apple billing)
• Refunds only within 24 hours of a new subscription (App Store purchases are refunded by Apple)

Reversal Window (7 Days)

• Sign in to the app within 7 days
• Tap Cancel deletion, keep my account
• Your account is restored (notifications resume after you allow them again; a cancelled auto-renewal stays cancelled)

After 7 days, deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Deceased user requests require documentation (death certificate and proof of relationship). Email margkgb@gmail.com with subject "Deceased User Account Deletion". Processing within 14 days.
