Panchakarma Retreat at Yan in Rishikesh
Yan Cure Retreat & Ayurveda Centre - Rishikesh · Rishikesh, Uttarakhand
About this retreat
This 3-day, 2-night Panchakarma retreat is at Yan Retreat & Ayurveda Centre in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Panchakarma is a traditional Ayurvedic cleansing routine with five steps: vamana, virechana, basti, nasya and raktamokshana. The programme may also include oil massage, shirodhara, herbal steam, yoga, meditation and a diet plan, and it is planned around your dosha. Days begin with an Ayurvedic detox drink, shat kriya and yoga, then an inner cleansing programme and breakfast. There are two therapy sessions a day, followed by meditation or a Ganga walk in the evening and a rejuvenation drink at night. Meals are sattvic vegetarian, and you can stay in a dormitory or a standard room. Therapies are indicative and may change after the doctor's consultation. Guests with health conditions should speak with their doctor and the centre first.
