Inner Sanctuary 9-Day Spiritual Journey in Rishikesh

Abhyasa Yogmath - Rishikesh · Rishikesh, Uttarakhand

About this retreat

Inner Sanctuary is a 9-day, 8-night spiritual retreat at Abhyasa Yogmath in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, set among forest. The programme mixes Hatha yoga and pranayama with meditation, yogic philosophy and mindful living, and it is open to beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Meals come from the centre's own farm: organic vegetables, woodfire cooking and dairy from its cows. The days follow a steady pattern of early meditation, yoga, philosophy sessions, evening satsang and a silence hour. Days 7 and 8 are full silence days. The programme also includes the Ganga Aarti, Himalayan walks, mantra chanting and a havan fire ceremony. Teachers guide the sessions throughout.
