8-Day Complete Holistic Yoga Retreat in Trivandrum

About this retreat

This 8-day, 7-night yoga retreat is at Rockholm at the Lighthouse Beach in Kovalam, Trivandrum, Kerala. It is led by certified yoga instructors and covers classical Hatha yoga along with meditation, pranayama, yoga nidra and mantra chanting, plus a personal yoga consultation, which shapes the practice to each guest. Beginners and experienced practitioners are both welcome. A welcome herbal drink, a daily wellness check, yoga philosophy sessions, progressive yoga classes and satvik vegetarian meals with herbal tea are part of the stay. A yoga mat is provided during sessions. A participation certificate is optional. The day starts at 6:00 AM with guided meditation and Hatha yoga, with evening yoga, pranayama or mantra chanting, and silent meditation before lights out at 9:30 PM.

Itinerary

1. Daily schedule

   Guided meditation at 6:00 AM, Hatha yoga at 6:30 AM, a herbal drink, progressive yoga and breakfast. Yoga nidra, philosophy or an interactive session at 10:30 AM, lunch at 12:30 PM and rest. Evening yoga at 4:30 PM, pranayama, meditation or mantra chanting at 5:30 PM, dinner at 7:00 PM and silent meditation. Lights out at 9:30 PM.
