4-Day Vibrations of Wellness: Sound Therapy Escape Retreat
Abhyasa Yogmath - Rishikesh · Rishikesh, Uttarakhand
About this retreat
This 4-day, 3-night retreat at Abhyasa Yogmath in Rishikesh centres on sound. Tibetan sound bowl therapy, breathwork and mindfulness meditation are led by seasoned practitioners in a small group, in a setting of forests and mountains. Day by day, the programme moves from arrival and a gentle yoga session, through grounding meditation and a sound bowl session for the root chakra, to breathwork and chakra meditation for the sacral and solar plexus chakras. The last day includes silent walking meditation in nature, a sound bowl session for the heart, throat, third eye and crown chakras, and a closing ceremony with a farewell dinner. Life follows a simple gurukul routine with Hatha yoga morning and evening, pranayama, organic Sattvic meals grown on site, and evening chanting, kirtan and aarti. Beginners and intermediate practitioners are welcome.
