INDIMASI Ayurvedic Healing Village - Trivandrum · Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala
About this retreat
This 15-day, 14-night Panchakarma programme is at INDIMASI Ayurvedic Village near Trivandrum, Kerala. Panchakarma is a traditional Ayurvedic cleansing routine, and Ayurveda traditionally describes it as a way to balance the three doshas, Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Here it is combined with yoga, meditation and Kalari, an Indian martial art, in a calm natural setting. Doctors prescribe the daily Ayurveda therapies. The day begins at 6:30 AM with Kalari, meditation and yoga, with a therapy session after lunch, evening meditation, advanced yoga or Kalari, and a one-to-one consultation with Guru YogiShivan. Meals are sattvic vegetarian, and rooms are standard or deluxe. It suits people who want a long, quiet break. Guests with health conditions should speak with their doctor and the centre first.
