Spine Care Programme

Kairali The Ayurvedic Healing Village - Kerala · Palakkad, Kerala

About this retreat

This 14-day, 13-night spine-care programme at Kairali in Palakkad, Kerala, draws on Ayurvedic tradition. Therapists use Snehan, Kati Vasti, Abhyangam, Shirodhara and Nasyam. Kairali also offers 21 and 28-day stays for this programme. The Ayurvedic approach described here is preventive as well as restorative. It looks at dosha balance and uses herbal preparations, diet changes, yoga, meditation and lifestyle advice. Panchakarma and massages such as Abhyangam and Shirodhara are part of the tradition. Guests stay in villas, eat three organic sattvic meals a day, and follow a daily routine of yoga, therapy and meditation. Anyone with back, neck or spine problems should speak with their doctor and with the centre first.
