8-Day Ayurvedic Panchakarma Programme in Kerala

Atreya Ayurveda & Yoga Beach Retreat - Kovalam Kerala · Kovalam, Kerala

About this retreat

An 8-day, 7-night Ayurvedic Panchakarma programme at Atreya Ayurveda and Yoga Beach Retreat in Kovalam, Kerala. Panchakarma is a traditional Ayurvedic detox and rejuvenation routine, and Ayurvedic doctors guide each step. A doctor sees you every day, and your therapies follow your body type (Prakriti). You receive two Ayurveda therapies daily, each lasting 1 to 1 hour 15 minutes, along with one hour of yoga, meditation, pranayama and a diet consultation. Abhyanga, Swedana and Shirodhara feature in the list of therapies, as do Udwarthanam, Njavarakizhi, Pizhichil, Raktamokshana, Vamana, Virechana, Basti and Nasya, depending on the doctor's advice. Meals are simple sattvic vegetarian food. Rooms are a cottage, standard room or deluxe room. The level is beginner. October to March has pleasant weather.
