14-Day Spine and Joint Wellness Retreat
Ayurveda Bhavan - Rishikesh · Rishikesh, Uttarakhand
About this retreat
This 14-day, 13-night programme at Ayurveda Bhavan in Rishikesh is built for people who live with back, neck or joint discomfort, stiffness or limited movement. It follows the Ayurvedic approach of looking at the wider balance of the body rather than only the symptoms, and combines therapies, diet, yoga and breathwork. The plan includes Abhyanga, Kati Basti and Griva Basti, Pinda Sveda, Nadi Sveda, Udvartana and Vasti, along with herbal formulations as prescribed by the Ayurveda doctor. A therapy session takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, including a shower. Yoga for the spine, neck and joints and breathing practices such as Nadi Shodhana and Bhastrika are part of the routine. Meals are warm and easy to digest, with herbal teas. Please speak with your doctor and with the centre first, particularly if you are under medical care.
