History
Pardeshwar Mahadev temple is at Narsingh Ghat on the banks of the Shipra. Its Shivling is made of parad (mercury) and is said to weigh around 1,500 kg, which makes it one of the largest parad Shivlings anywhere. Devotees believe that a darshan of Pardeshwar Mahadev brings the same merit as visiting the twelve Jyotirlingas and countless other Shiva shrines. The month of Shravan and Mahashivratri are the main festivals.
